We are a small family business, starting back in 2018, making wooden gifts as a hobby. Using reclaimed and recycled wood, the items were cut and sanded by my husband and then decorated by me. We had some interest in our products and were invited to a local. Christmas Craft Fair. We were amazed at how many people loved our products and developed a Facebook page, then later an Etsy shop.

We originally decorated our gifts with paint and wooden embellishments, but then purchased a laser engraver, which allowed us to expand our range of products and also provide a bespoke and customised service.

We enjoy creating and making gifts which people love. We put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our products are well made as well as looking good. Because many of our products are made from recycled wood, they can have flaws, such as nail marks, grain, cracks and splits. We sand and smooth them so that they look great. If you want perfect matching items, recycled wood may not be for you and you may be more suited to a mass produced item, or one that is made from brand new wood. Our items are unique, made with love and eco friendly.

Wherever possible we reuse packaging rather than buying lots of paper or plastic which ends up at landfill. The only exception to this are our gift boxes, which will be new cardboard boxes. If you order anything that is gift wrapped, it will be wrapped in a recycled or recyclable gift wrapping or tissue paper. All our bubble wrap is recycled and reused from other packaging, again  to try and prevent waste.

All our products can be bought through our Etsy shop. Just follow the Etsy button at the top of the page, or follow the links below for the coasters displayed on this blog: https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/794388850/handmade-reclaimed-mahogany-coaster
